Our Diploma Programs
Beaut Academy - Wellness Center offers four diploma programs, each with classroom instruction and hands-on practice, taught in English and Spanish in Orlando, Florida.
220 clock hours, about 8 weeks. Facial skin care and facial technology, hair removal, makeup and lash services, ending with supervised clinical services on real clients.
1,200 clock hours, 10 to 15 months. Haircutting, hairstyling, chemical texturing, hair coloring, facials, makeup, hair removal and nail services, with salon operations.
240 clock hours, 10 to 14 weeks. All areas of nail care, from manicures and pedicures to tips, sculptured nails and nail art.
600 clock hours, 24 weeks. Medical office procedures, patient care and clinical skills, with a supervised clinical practicum at an affiliated clinical site.
Professional Development Workshops
Informational sessions on facial specialist and beauty topics.
Career services
Beaut Academy - Wellness Center offers job placement assistance to its students and graduates: help identifying employment opportunities, help arranging interviews with employers, resume preparation in English and Spanish, interview preparation, and networking with industry professionals. Beaut Academy - Wellness Center does not guarantee employment.
Schedule
Classes run Monday through Friday in three sessions: morning, 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.; afternoon, 12:00 to 5:00 p.m.; evening, 5:00 to 10:00 p.m. Students attend at least 25 hours a week. New classes begin monthly, or when enough students have enrolled.
Admission
A high school diploma, transcript or GED, or passing the Wonderlic Basic Skills Test; at least 16 years old; a photo ID or driver's license; and a visit to the academy to meet an admissions representative, tour the school and complete the application.
